It is people that inject shame into hope, they will laugh you to scorn when you tell them your dreams, they will call their friends to join them in laughing at you just to make you feel a little more miserable.And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. Romans 5:5
however as seen above, hope in itself, hope on its own, doesn't have any bit of shame. if scripture says it, then it has to be true!
How do we handle the people that introduce fear into our lives and through their many words of doubt quench our faith such that the flood of hopelessness around us quenches the fire of the hope in us.
Don't mind those who ridicule your dream, at least you are smart enough to dream a dream,
you don't need their faith for your dreams to come through and whether they believe or don't believe your vision has no effect.
This post is written to the young girl whose new husband is struggling to put bread on the table, have some hope. Also to the old man whose children seem to have no future, have a little hope, to the business man and woman struggling to break even when their friends are on high profit, have a little hope, hope maketh not ashamed!
To the married woman with mis-understanding in her home while her friends are enjoying a happy marriage, have a little hope, to the sick man, thinking of how his children will fare when he dies... have a little hope!
You can not give in to discouragement at this time, God is the one encouraging you while men are the people discouraging you... They can never win God! If you hold on long enough, even these hard times will pass away and you too will have a testimony!
In God you are encouraged, in the world you are discouraged... depends on where you stand, by now your hope should be stronger!
