Experience Breeds Hope

When faced with circumstances we have never dealt with before, there is a tendency that our hope easily dies in us. We may feel like giving up. But we will discover in today's study that hope is bred when we survive tough times and hard Times.

For instance if you have lost your job before and survived with your family for 19years I don't see you loosing hope if for any reason you lose your new job again. Rather I think you will encourage yourself and say, don't give up son, you have seen worse before, you will get a new job again and you will survive, the same God that did it for you before will do it again. And this such hope can keep you going for as long as this new trial phase will last.

Romans 5:3-4 KJV
And not only so , but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
[4] And patience, experience; and experience, hope:

So trials make us stronger and tribulations make us better. Experience increases not only our hope but also our faith. If you have seen God raise the dead before, you won't lose hope if the doctor tells you that your 3years old Annie is in coma, rather you will pray and be assured that God can and if He wants, He will.

Let your circumstances teach you how to hope not how to despair
